• Works on both diesel and gas vehicles if they have a MAP (mass air pressure (MAP) sensor on a plastic intake (almost all cars since 2012 or so)

• You need to drive the vehicle to be able to diagnose it correctly. Our setup is holding tight, and the cable of the sensor is long so it’s easily doable. (A simple rubber cone will not hold the pressure)

• Why not read from the OBD scanner since the vehicle has a MAP sensor. What if it is faulty? Connect both (pressure tester and OBD scanner) and check if pressures match so you can diagnose a bad turbo OR a bad sensor.
